Former KPK adviser Tsani Annafari officially resigned from the post of director of the DKI Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda). He resigned after serving for 5 months as director of Bapenda DKI Jakarta.
“As of today, I do not officially serve as Head of Bapenda DKI. Regarding performance, just check the achievement of DKI Bapenda goals and the implementation of performance contracts and the achievements of Bapenda 2020 regional strategic activities.” Tsani said through a short message. , Friday (2/26/2021).
Tsani asked the public not to speculate on her decision to resign from her post. He invited DKI Jakarta Bapenda to verify the targets, especially those that still questioned their performance.
“Regarding why I no longer serve as Bapenda’s Chief, there is no need to argue why serving or not serving is a form of assignment,” Tsani continued.
He emphasized that from the beginning he served as Head of the DKI Jakarta Bapenda, he had faced the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan warned that the regional revenue target was not missed too much.
“For information, 2020 is a year full of uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so according to the governor’s direction, it is necessary to have a conservative attitude and be careful so that the income goal is not lost too much because if This happens that it will cause a strong regional budget deficit. The economy, so it cannot be as long as possible, ”he explained.
After 3.5 months of commissioning, his performance began to show results. He said regional revenues had doubled.
“And thank God, in the 3.5 months that we carried out the task in 2020, revenue has almost doubled from 17 trillion rupees at the end of August to 31.9 trillion rupees at the end of December with the achievement end of revenue target of 98.3%, “he said.
So far, Tsani admits that she has not received a decision letter (SK) for an assignment to a new location. He admitted that he was ready to be placed in any position.
“The provincial government of DKI Jakarta has asked me from the Ministry of Finance. It is up to the provincial government of DKI to use me for what. What is certain is that I have not received a new SK allocation, so I do not know yet,” he said.
Earlier, Commission C DPRD DKI Jakarta relayed the news of the resignation of the former KPK adviser. Tsani is said to have signed a resignation letter two days ago.
“Yes, I have confirmed it. I have verified that Mr. Tsani as Head of Bapenda has signed a resignation letter since the 24th last Wednesday,” said C DPRD DKI Jakarta Commission member Ahmad Lukman Jupiter when contacted on Friday (2/26/2021).
It should be noted that Commission C is a partner of DKI Jakarta Bapenda in charge of regional financial management, tax services, bank fees and regional assets. However, Jupiter has not received a copy of the resignation letter sent by Tsani.
Meanwhile, DKI Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria confirmed the resignation of Bapenda DKI chief Tsani. Riza said that everyone has the right to submit their resignation.

In August 2020, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, appointed Mohammad Tsani Annafari Head of DKI Jakarta Bapenda. Before serving as Director of Bapenda DKI, Tsani was an advisor to KPK. After that, Tsani held a functional fiscal policy position at the Ministry of Finance.
