KOMPAS.com – The 2021 Pre-Employment Card Program begins with the opening of the registration for lot 12 of the Pre-Employment Card.
The coordinating Minister of Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, delivered the opening of the 12th batch of pre-employment cards at a press conference online on Tuesday (2/23/2021).
“Wave 12 will open with a quota of 600,000 participants, so this is in line with the capabilities of the Pre-Work Card technology,” Airlangga said. Between, Tuesday (23/2/2021).

So who is not eligible for the pre-employment card?
Who cannot register for the Pre-employment Card
Those who cannot register as participants in the Pre-Employment Card program are as follows.
If it is one of the jobs below, then you cannot apply for the Pre-Employment Card Program:
- State office
- Leaders and members of the Regional Popular Representative Council (DPRD)
- State civil apparatus (ASN)
- Soldiers of the Indonesian National Army (TNI)
- Members of the Indonesian National Police (Polri)
- Village chief and village officials
- Directors, Commissioners and Supervisory Board in state-owned companies or regionally-owned companies.

Requirements to register a pre-employment card
Meanwhile, in Permenko Number 11 of 2020, there are three main requirements for recipients of the pre-employment card, namely:
- Indonesian Citizen (WNI) as proof of an identity card (KTP)
- Minimum age 18 years
- He is not currently attending formal education.
In addition, the Pre-Employment Cards are also intended for:
- job seeker
- Employees or workers affected by layoffs
- Workers or day laborers who need greater job competence. This means that people who are already working can register for a Pre-Employment Card as long as they meet the requirements with the aim of increasing competition.
- During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Pre-Work Card was prioritized for workers or day laborers who were laid off, as well as for micro and small business actors that were affected
- The Pre-Employment Card is also open to any graduate, be it a higher campus or not. Because what becomes the benchmark is the improvement of competence and work experience.
- No recipients of the Ministry of Social Affairs (DTKS), BSU, BPUM, or recipients of the pre-work card that they received in 2020
- Not TNI / Polri, ASN, members of the DPR / D, BUMN / D and others.

How to register
Once eligibility is confirmed, prospective Pre-Employment Card Lot 12 applicants can take the following steps:
1. Create a pre-employment account
The first thing to do is create an account on the official pre-employment page. How:
- Go to the site www. prakerja.go.id and then click “Register”
- Enter your full name, email address and new password
- Check the email of the Pre-employment Card and follow the instructions to confirm the email account
- After confirming that the email account is correct, return to the previous job site.

2. Complete personal data
After creating an account, applicants only need to fill in their personal details.
Here is how to complete the personal data:
- Login to the account with the email address and password that was created
- Enter your KTP number and date of birth, then click “Next”
- Fill in your personal details, starting with your full name, email address, residential address, home address, education, employment status, photo ID, then click ‘Next’
- Enter the phone number and OTP code sent by SMS

3. Take the test
After filling in your personal details, the account owner will be asked to take an initial test in the form of a basic skill and motivation test. The following are things to know about this basic skill and motivation test:
- Take a 15-minute basic skills and motivation test.
- Prepare stationery and paper when needed
- Please wait for the Pre-Employment Card email notification after completing the test
- After receiving the email notification, return to the site and join the wave of registrations that are currently opening.
