They bought a car after receiving the final payment for the shipment which was deposited with the Tuban District Court.

“Those who bought a new car simultaneously yesterday were a group that previously resisted selling their land,” he said.

Kasiyanto said there were up to 70 Heads of Household (KK) in Pomahan Hamlet, Sumurgeneng Village, who received money from Pertamina for selling land.

Of the 70 families, some 50 families previously refused to sell land for the development of a new base refinery (NGRR).
