PAPUA, KOMPAS.TV- The Indonesian National Army (TNI) immediately moved swiftly to pursue members of the Papua Armed Criminal Group (KKB) after the death of a TNI staff member, Prada Ginanjar Arianda, during a shooting in the village of Mamba, Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua, on Monday. (2/15/2021).
The result was that three members of the KKB were killed in the hunt.
Kogabwilhan III’s chief information officer, Colonel Czi IGN Suriastawa, said that TNI personnel on the ground managed to kill three KKB members who were trying to seize weapons belonging to the apparatus.
The incident occurred at Sugapa Health Center, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua, on Monday (2/15/2021).

He explained that when the TNI team, which was pursuing the Prada shooter Ginanjar Arianda, a member of the R 400 / BR Battalion Task Force, they examined a man.
“During the investigation, this person (later identified as Janius Bagau) suddenly fled by jumping off a cliff. The team had to shoot him after warning shots and calls to return were not heeded,” Suriastawa said, in a written statement. Tuesday (2/16/2021).
