The government will hold a meeting on the 2021 public holiday adjustment and licensing policy next week. This policy adjustment was made because the COVID-19 pandemic is not over.

The assessment on the decision on joint vacations and leave was previously transmitted by the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Tjahjo Kumolo. Tjahjo said this was done because he considered the current COVID-19 situation.

“The PAN-RB minister added that when observing the COVID-19 situation in the country, the government needs to re-evaluate the existing decisions on vacations and collective leave in 2021,” the official statement from the PAN Ministry of RB wrote, Monday (2/15).

The government was moving fast. Meetings on adjustments to the 2021 vacation and shared leave policies are also scheduled.

Coordinating Minister of Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy revealed that so far there have been informal talks by agencies and ministries about holidays and departure in 2021. However, he has not been able to reveal what options the government. .

“Informally there has been an initial discussion with the related KL, that collective vacations and leave will be in line with policy,” Muhadjir told detikcom on Monday (2/15).
