“As a result of the thick fog and heavy rain, the driver still did not know the road,” Majalengka Police Public Relations Subsection Chief Aipda Riyana said in a statement to Kompas.com on Saturday ( 2/13/2021).

The Avanza with seven passengers, including a small child, was eventually evacuated.

From Riyana’s statement, Avanza’s car was a family that was about to return to Tasikmalaya after visiting a sick person in Cirebon.

One of the residents who was passing saw the car and reported it to the officer.
