Juventus win again

Juventus are back in brilliant shape. La Anciana continued to win in six consecutive games, after being defeated by Inter Milan 0-2 in mid-January.

More recently, Juventus frustrated AS Roma 2-0 in Italian league which took place at the Allianz-Stadium, on Sunday (7/2/2021) at the WIB in the morning. Three points can be secured.

Juventus closed the first half with a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 13th minute. In the second half, Roma dominated the match. However, it was Juventus that added the lead after Roger Ibáñez scored an own goal in the 69th minute.

Thanks to this victory, Juventus rose to third place Italian league positions. They displaced Roma with 42 points in 20 games. Meanwhile, Roma fell to fourth place with 40 points.

Leonardo Bonucci said Juventus seemed to find a new “soul.” That was after, in mid-January, Juventus were beaten 0-2 by Inter Milan.

“We are like playing with a new soul, after the defeat against Inter Milan,” said the Juventus defender quoted by Soccer Italy.

“After the game, we looked at ourselves and wanted to get back on the pitch as soon as possible,” he said.

In the six games since the loss to Inter Milan, Juventus were able to win continuously. The details are a 2-0 victory over Napoli in the Italian Super Cup, a 2-0 victory for Bologna, 2-0 for Sampdoria and 2-0 for AS Roma in the Italian League, scoring 4-0 SPAL in the Coppa Italia quarterfinals, and defeating Inter Milan 2-1 in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinals.

“We are on the right track, fighting at the top of the league and continuing to move in the Coppa Italia. We will continue to focus on the next game,” Bonucci said.
