Jakarta –
Cristiano Ronaldo managed to score two goals against Inter Milan. At the same time, Real Madrid greeted CR7. What is that?
Juventus travel to Inter’s headquarters at the Giuseppe Meazza in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal, early Wednesday (2/3/2021), West Indonesian time. The Bianconeri were left behind first with a goal from Lautaro Martínez, then Ronaldo prepared for a 2-1 win at Juventus.
After Juventus’ second goal, Real Madrid’s official English account immediately sent a tweet to Ronaldo. The Spanish club insists that Ronaldo is Los Blancos’ all-time top scorer.
“Top scorer in the history of our club and now in world football. Congratulations @Cristiano!” the sound of teasing.
Cristiano Ronaldo has registered 450 goals in 438 games for Madrid. The Portuguese forward was a Madrid player from 2009 to 2018.
Ronaldo was also touted as the world’s top scorer of all time. This came after his only goal against Napoli in the Italian Super Cup.
Ronaldo at that time recorded 760 goals and surpassed the notch of 759 goals belonging to the legend of the Czech Republic, Josef Bican. This data was later corrected by the Football Association of the Czech Republic, which stated that Bican had scored 821 goals.
Aside from different Bican goal data, Ronaldo has so far scored 87 goals for Juventus. He has registered 112 games since the 2018/2019 season.
Last season, Ronaldo made a record at Juventus. His record of 37 goals made him the Old Lady’s top scorer for one season.
Cristiano Ronaldo also needs two more goals to make the list of the 15 best scorers in Juventus history. Currently in 15th place is Filippo Inzaghi with 89 goals.
