Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Elements of society in the name of ties Activist 98 claiming to have trained 1,000 lawyers to assist in legal defense against social media activists, Permadi Arya or Abu Janda | in the police.
“It looks like someone is looking for this big boost. We will close ranks. We will prepare 1,000 attorney take care of Abu Janda, “said Immanuel Ebenezer, general leader of the 98th Activists Association. CNNIndonesia.com, Monday (2/1).
Immanuel assessed that Abu Janda’s complaint to the police on charges of racism did not fit the legal facts. In fact, he considered that the reporting action of the president general, KNPI Haris Pratama, seemed to simply heat up the atmosphere.
KNPI President Haris Pratama is known to have reported Abu Janda to the police regarding his controversial statements on Twitter social media about alleged racism against former Komnas HAM commissioner Natalius Pigai.
“He has already cleared it up. There is no evolutionary word that is intended to attack Natalius Pagai. Haris is the ‘geek,'” Immanuel said.
Seeing this, Immanuel asked Haris not to interfere and to only clarify with Abu Janda.
In fact, Immanuel sees this complaint as full of revenge policies. He admitted that he would mobilize a line of supporters of President Jokowi who were in favor of democracy and the Republic of Indonesia.
“This is even like trying to beat the ranks of Jokowi supporters who are in favor of democracy and the NKRI,” he said.
Recently, Abu Janda has become a hot topic of conversation due to the controversial statements he made.
Abu Janda recently had the opportunity to tweet on his Twitter account @ permadiaktivis1 about ‘Islam is an arrogant religion’ when he talks about imported religions trampling on local wisdom.
For his tweet, Abu Janda was reported to the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) by the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI). The report was received by the police under the number STTL / 033/1/2021 / Bareskrim on January 29, 2021.
Later, Abu Janda was also under surveillance regarding the alleged racism case against former Komnas HAM commissioner Natalius Pigai.
Permadi uploaded the statement to his Twitter account @ permadiaktivis1. However, when CNNIndonesia.com searched the account, the tweet could no longer be found.
