In the 30-second video, a young man is seen holding a bottle of fuel oil.

The flames appear to appear from the bottom of the red and white flag. Then the man poured fuel on the flag.

The fire grew and burned the flag.

In response to the viral video, Aceh Regional Police Chief of Public Relations Kombes Pol Winardy said that the video was still being investigated by the Aceh Regional Police Cyber ​​Crimes Branch.

“The team is still tracking the identity of the perpetrator and when the video was made or where the video was made,” Winardy said via message. WhatsApp accepted Kompas.com, Saturday (01/30/2021).

Winardy added that the investigation team of the Directorate of the Sub-Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Regional Police had received preliminary information about the video.

The perpetrator, he said, was believed to be an Indonesian citizen (WNI) living in Malaysia.
