JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – John Refra aka John Kei’s uncle, namely Nus Kei, attended the John Kei murder case follow-up trial in West Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (1/27/2021).
Meanwhile, John did not attend the trial in person.
He attended a virtual trial from the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, accompanied by several of his lawyers.
“I attended the trial, this trial is of interest to me,” Nus Kei said when meeting with reporters after the trial that took place on Wednesday.

Nus admitted that he only knew that the trial would take place one day earlier today.
“Yesterday I found out that there is a trial today,” he said.
However, when asked for his response to the three trials that had been made, Nus admitted that he was still unable to comment.
“I cannot comment yet. The hope is that the trial continues to be auspicious,” he continued.

Regarding the expectation of the judge’s decision, Nus Kei also conveyed the same.
“Yes, I have not been able to (convey the expectations of the verdict), but it seems what the prosecutor said,” he said.
Nus later said that until now he had never communicated with John Kei.
“Not yet, I can’t go there,” he said.
To obtain information, John Kei’s group attacked Nus Kei in two places, namely the Kosambi area in West Jakarta; and the Green Lake City development, Tangerang, on June 21, 2020.
As a result of the attack, a subordinate of Nus Kei named Yustus Corwing aka Erwin was killed and another person was injured.
A home security officer was also injured when John Kei’s men beat him and a motorcycle taxi driver in line was shot in the leg.
John Kei’s men are known to have fired seven shots.

After the incident, John Kei and his 38 men were arrested in Bekasi, West Java and several other places.
They were charged with Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951, article 340 of the Penal Code on Planned Murder, article 169 of the Penal Code, article 170 of the Penal Code and article 351 of the Penal Code with the threat of death.
At the arraignment trial against John Kei in West Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (1/13/2021), the prosecutor said the case for Yustus’ murder started when Nus Kei failed to return the money. you borrowed. by John Kei in 2013.

At that time, Nus Kei took out a loan of 1 billion rupees and promised to pay it back at double or 2 billion rupees in six months.
However, when the deadline for the refund came, Nus Kei did not return the money.
Nus Kei’s group even insulted John through a live Instagram video.
Knowing this, John Kei met with Kei Young Generation (Amkei) to discuss the video.
The prosecutor also revealed that John Kei had given his subordinates 10 million rupees of operational money, one day before Yustus’s murder, which was on June 20, 2020.
At that point, John Kei again discussed the video of the insult with some of his men.
“During the meeting, John Kei said, ‘Tomorrow go hit Nus Kei’s house,’ and another address for John Kei, that is, ‘Take Nus Kei dead or alive. If anyone gets in the way, just brush ‘”said the prosecutor. Read the charges on Wednesday.
The next day, June 21, 2020, members of the John Kei group gathered in the Cempaka Putih area in central Jakarta, and then left for the Duri Kosambi area in West Jakarta; and Green Lake, Tangerang.
At Duri Kosambi, Yustus died after being attacked by John Kei’s men.
