WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – Joe Biden officially became the 46th President of the United States (USA), at the inauguration on Wednesday (1/20/2021).
As reported CNN, Biden took the oath using the Bible that he has kept in his family since 1893.

The Bible is five inches thick, brown, and has a Celtic cross in the center.
He has reportedly used the Bible regularly since becoming a senator from the state of Delaware in 1973.
In addition, he always used it when he was appointed Vice President of the United States for the 2009 and 2013 terms.
There is a unique story at the time of the 2009 inauguration. At that time, the swearing-in ceremony had to be postponed because the Bible was not found.
“Every important date is there. Every time I take the oath, the date is recorded there,” he told Stephen Colbert in December 2020.
Biden will also get the title as the oldest president of the United States, because he was sworn in when he was 78 years old.
