The General Directorate of Customs and Excise of the Riau Islands (Kepri) (DGCE) thwarted the smuggling of 7.2 million illegal cigarettes. A businessman was killed in the incident, prompting the family to report the murder charges to the police.
Police said the businessman who died in the incident was named Haji Jumhan bin Selo. These entrepreneurs are known in the Riau Islands community as Haji Permata.

Harry explained that the family reported this on Friday (1/15). The police will follow up on the report by autopsy of the businessman’s body.
“Last night, the family made a police report to the Kepri police. According to the police report, we will conduct an autopsy,” Harry said.
