JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A victim from the Sriwijaya Air SJ 1812 aircraft was identified by the National Police Disaster Victim Identification Team (DVI) on Monday (11/1/2021). This is the first victim identified.
The head of the National Police, Brigadier General Pol Hudi Suryanto, said the victim’s name was Oky Bisma, a resident of Kramatjati in East Jakarta.
Oky was identified thanks to a match between antemortem and postmortem fingerprints.
“(Fingerprints) we get from the E-KTP. So this E-KTP is important. When there are things like this,” Hudi said during a press conference at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital on Monday. .

Hudi also said that Oky Bisma’s name was on Sriwijaya Air SJ 182’s manifest passenger list on the Jakarta-Pontianak route.
“After checking, Oky Bisma’s name was on manifest list number 4,” Hudi said.
The results of this identification were also confirmed by the Chief of the Public Information Office, Public Relations Division (Karopenmas Divhumas) of the Police, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono.
“The DVI team can identify one of the victims of the Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 crash, that is, on behalf of Oky Bisma,” Rusdi said.
The Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 flight for the Jakarta-Pontianak route was declared missing since Saturday (9/1/2021).

The Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 aircraft lost contact between Male Island and Lancang Island, Thousand Islands, on Saturday around 2:40 p.m. WIB or 4 minutes after taking off from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang.
The plane was carrying 62 people. The details are 6 active crew members plus 56 passengers (46 adults, 7 children and 3 babies).
The Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 aircraft had left the flight path, which was heading northwest at 14:40 WIB.
The air traffic controller (ATC) then asked the pilot about the flight direction of the plane. However, in a matter of seconds, the plane lost contact and finally crashed.
