“In January, PKH will be distributed with a budget of Rp 7.17 trillion,” Risma was quoted as saying by the website of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Jakarta on Tuesday (1/5/2021).
For the Basic Food Program / BPNT, the target recipient is KPM 18.8 million with a budget of IDR 45.12 trillion, which is channeled through Bank Himbara and designated agents from January to December 2021 with an index 200,000 IDR / month / KPM. The total budget distributed in January was 3.76 trillion IDR.
Then the Social Assistance in Cash is distributed through PT Pos for 4 months (January-April 2021) with a rate of IDR 300,000 / month / KPM. The target recipient of Cash Bansos is 10 million KPM with a budget of 12 billion IDR. In January, Bansos Cash will disburse a budget of 3 trillion IDR. “So the total budget distributed in January is Rp. 13.93 trillion,” Risma said.
The launch of cash transfers for PKH and the Grocery Program was implemented by state banks. “For beneficiaries who are ill, elderly, and people with severe disabilities, these banks will deliver directly to their respective residences,” Risma said.
Likewise, for Social Assistance in Cash, the delivery of the aid will be carried out by PT Pos Indonesia, and will also take them to their respective residences for the family.

Risma advised PKH beneficiaries to be prudent and appropriate when using assistance, such as to improve family health, improve children’s education, and reduce family burdens, basic business capital needs, and some savings.
“The basic food program that is delivered in the form of non-cash food assistance must be spent at local electronic kiosks, to obtain carbohydrates, animal protein, vegetable protein, sources of vitamins and minerals,” he said.
Cash assistance is provided to non-PKH beneficiaries and basic food cards, so that they can be used to buy basic necessities / food, such as rice / corn, side dishes, vegetables, fruits and other useful necessities in the face of Covid-19.
