JAKARTA – 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA) president Slamet Ma’arif is still in Polda Metro Jaya to undergo an examination regarding his participation in the 1812 demonstration. Since his arrival this afternoon, Slamet has been under investigation for six hours .

Slamet arrived at Polda Metro Jaya at 10.30 AM WIB. Before undergoing the test, he first took the antigen test and tested negative for the Corona virus. Slamet Ma’arif’s team of lawyers, Ichwan Tuankotta, said that until this afternoon their client was being examined about the video invitation to participate in the 1812 action.

“It is related to the action video questioned by investigators,” Slamet Ma’arif’s attorney Ichwan Tuankotta said when contacted on Monday (1/4/2021). (Read also; President of PA 212: I cannot go to the first call, today I make the second call )

He added that until this afternoon the interrogation of his client was still ongoing at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya. “Yes (video invitation to join the action of 1812). The examination is still ongoing at this time,” he said.

Slamet Ma’arif himself had already raised his voice regarding his examination today. When he met before being questioned by investigators, Slamet admitted that he would cooperate. “When we are asked for information as witnesses, we just cooperate. We don’t know what to ask for in response,” he said.

Polda Metro Jaya herself continues to investigate the crowd case related to the 1812 demonstration. In addition to Slamet Ma’arif, the police have also scheduled a call to question the witness with the initials A.

Witness A himself is known to be the owner of the command car that was to be used in the 1812 action. However, the questioning took place after Witness A was unable to attend.

Furthermore, on Tuesday (5/1/2021), the police also plan to question three witnesses. Each of them bore the initials AR and AS, as did the coordinator of the 1812 field of action, Rizal Kobar.
