Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
The head of the Presidential Personnel Office (KSP) Moeldoko said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) already bagged the name candidate for Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Police officer) the new successor to General Idham Azis.
Moeldoko said that the change of head of the National Police has become routine. So that there is no undue preparation on Jokowi’s part in choosing the name of the new chief of police.
“The procedure is underway, it is only a matter of time. Who (the candidate for chief of the National Police) will definitely be there,” Moeldoko said in a voice recording received on Monday (4/1).
Moeldoko said that Jokowi would send the names of the candidates for the head of the National Police to the DPR in the near future for a proper test (proper and tight test). Because the time available is short.

“By the way, no (I know), it just isn’t in my pocket, right?” Moeldoko said jokingly.
The Chief of the National Police, General Idham Azis, will retire on February 1, 2021. According to regulations, President Jokowi must submit the name of a replacement for Idham no later than 20 days before, or on Tuesday ( 12/1).
