FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Following the freezing of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), the government also froze the assets and accounts of this mass organization created by Habib Rizieq Shihab.
The former FPI legal team, who is also a lawyer for HRS, claimed that the number of accounts frozen by the government was only one.
“One account, in which the remaining tens of millions of rupees were salted,” Aziz told JPNN on Monday (4/1).
However, Aziz did not want to accuse which party had taken the money in the FPI account.
“I don’t know who he is, but he also paid for tens of millions of people, he’s extraordinarily agile when it comes to money,” Aziz explained.
For information, the mass organization FPI that was founded in 1998 was dissolved by the government on December 30, 2020.
The government through the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Mahfud MD, officially prohibits all activities of the FPI.
The government stated that the FPI does not currently have the legal capacity as a mass organization.
Mahfud Md called on all security forces to ban any activity on behalf of the FPI.
“With the prohibition and without legitimacy for the central and regional apparatus, if there is an organization that acts on behalf of the FPI”,
“Nothing and it must be rejected,” Mahfud said at a press conference in his office on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. (jpnn / pojoksatu)
