Real Madrid returned to the path of victory in the Spanish League, after beating Celta de Vigo 2-0.

At the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium, on Sunday (1/3/2021), Madrid quickly took the lead thanks to Lucas Vázquez’s header in the 6th minute. In the second half, Marco Asensio’s shot in the 53rd minute ensured that the locals had all three points.

These results led Zinedine Zidane’s squad to the top of the standings with 36 points from 17 games. They traded Atlético de Madrid, who have 35 points, but still have three games to save.
