The Indonesian Grand Movement Party (Gerindra) offended the bigoted group that divided the nation. Gerindra did not mention whose ‘brand’ the group was. However, Gerindra’s statement was answered by the hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW by the former board of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI).

Initially, Gerindra expressed her support for the government of Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to safeguard the unity of the nation from intolerant groups and divisive parties. Gerindra assessed that this intolerant group could endanger the future of Indonesia.

“The Gerindra Party supports the policies adopted by President Jokowi to maintain Indonesia’s unity by taking a firm stance on intolerant groups that endanger the future of the Republic of Indonesia,” Gerindra Vice President General Rahayu told reporters. Saraswati, on Friday (1/1).

According to Saraswati, maintaining the integrity of the nation is not a question of who is in power. In fact, he said, all elements of the nation must come together to get out of trouble in 2020.

“In fact, to get out of trouble in 2020, we don’t need divisive parties, but it is time for us to maintain national unity,” Saraswati said.

Who is this group? Saraswati, on another occasion, said that he was not referring to a single group in particular. But what is meant is anyone who is against Pancasila.

“All groups present language that offends fellow Indonesians and is divisive,” Saraswati told reporters on Saturday (2/1).

Saraswati emphasized Prabowo Subianto’s message as Head of Gerindra that Indonesia was founded on the principle of justice and the spirit of unity.

“Pak Prabowo, as president of Gerindra, always emphasizes that Indonesia is based on the principles of justice and the spirit of unity. Let us uphold this spirit. Let no side want to be used as a dividing line for this nation,” he said.
