jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front, Habib Rizieq Shihab, was relaxed on the issuance of the Joint Decree (SKB) of three ministers and three institutional leaders, on the Prohibition of Activities to Use Symbols and Attributes and the Termination of Activities of the Islamic Defenders Front.
Habib Rizieq admitted that he did not want to worry about the government’s decision to ban the Islamic Defenders Front in Indonesia.
“Okay, okay. It doesn’t bother me, really,” Habib Rizieq said through a recording posted by FPI Munarman Secretary General to jpnn.com on Saturday (2/1).
Habib Rizieq said he would form another social organization after the existence of the Islamic Defenders Front was banned.
The name of the organization will later be adjusted to the previous acronym for the Islamic Defenders Front, namely FPI.
“Tomorrow I will form another Islamic United Front. It has the same abbreviation, FPI. I disbanded it again, created another Islamic Brotherhood Front. The abbreviation is the same, FPI, which leads to it as well. Disbanded again, okay. I changed it back to Front. Guardian of Islam. The abbreviation is the same, heading the same, working together, “said Habib Rizieq.
Habib Rizieq emphasized that the Islamic Defenders Front, abbreviated as FPI, is just the name of an organization.
Rizieq also emphasized the need for the ummah to fight for the main objective of the formation of the Islamic Defenders Front.
