PR TASIKMALAYA – Not long ago, the government officially banned all activities of the Communal Organization of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) (Ormas).
It is known that the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Mahfud MD, declared that the government was halting the activities and activities of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).
“The government prohibits the activities of the FPI and will stop any activity that takes place because the FPI no longer has a legal position either as a mass organization or as an ordinary organization,” said Mahfud MD.

He also explained that since June 20, 2019, the FPI has de jure dissolved as a mass organization.
Mahfud MD said that based on the laws and regulations and the decision of the Constitutional Court of December 23, 2014, the government had banned and stopped the activities of the FPI.
“If there is an organization acting on behalf of FPI, it is considered that it does not exist and must be rejected as of today,” he said.
