jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The head of the National Police Security Maintenance Agency, Komjen Agus Andrianto, pointed out that the National Police has dealt with at least 94 cases and 199 suspects involving the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).
In addition, it was indicated that 35 members of the FPI are involved in terrorist organizations.
“If you look at the fingerprint, they always carry out their activities using symbols, symbols, flags that characterize the organization,” Komjen Agus said through a press release in Jakarta on Thursday.
He said that in the video of the FPI leader Muhammad Rizieq Shihab’s speech, the FPI declared that it is ready to fight its enemies with all its might, whether in the form of firearms, ammunition or explosives.
“That means if they have firearms, ammunition, explosives, then we just want to keep quiet. What will this country be like if we keep quiet? said the former North Sumatra police chief.
Agus explained that every social organization, registered or not, must base its activities on the applicable legal norms.
He argued that the freedom of society to create social organizations, the freedom of people to meet, of course there are rules that must also be obeyed.
“Go ahead as long as you don’t break the law, as long as you don’t disturb public order, as long as you don’t disturb security, yes, go ahead,” said the three-star general.
