Ultimatum of former TNI general supports FPI’s banned mass organizations, Refly Harun: tomorrow our country will turn to terror

PR BEKASI – General TNI (Purnawirawan) Abdullah Mahmud Hendropriyono issued an ultimatum for organizations that accommodate or support and protect former members of the banned mass organizations of the FPI.

Hendropriyono stated that whoever protects former FPI members from banned mass organizations must be prepared to face prosecution in accordance with the law in force in the Republic of Indonesia.

“Former FPI protection organizations and provocateurs are waiting their turn,” Hendropriyono said.

The former commander of the Special Forces Command (Kopassus) also said that if someone deliberately accommodates former FPI members, they will be subject to the same sanctions.



“This means that if there is another organization that accommodates former FPI members, that organization may also be subject to the same sanctions,” he said.

In response to the ultimatum, constitutional law expert Refly Harun immediately prayed that the people of Indonesia would not forget that this country was a rule of law.

He also emphasized that, as the rule of law, Indonesia and its people should not do anything threatening.
