jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Habib Rizieq Shihab doesn’t care about the government’s decision to ban FPI in Indonesia.
Habib Rizieq will take legal action, such as filing a lawsuit in the State Administrative Court (PTUN) over the decision to ban the existence of FPI.
Habib Rizieq’s response was relayed by a member of FPI’s legal team, Sugito Atmo Prawiro, when he met with press teams in Petamburan, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/30).
“HRS (Habib Rizieq Shihab, red) said this, please prepare the legal steps, the PTUN lawsuit. If, for example, later the official government format is related to the dissolution, we will file a lawsuit for PTUN,” he said. Sugito.
According to Sugito, FPI’s legal team will hold discussions on the proposed lawsuit. However, Sugito did not specify when the lawsuit would be filed.
“We want to meet with the legal team to prepare for the PTUN lawsuit process. Presentation, yes, as soon as possible ”, he said.
Previously, the government issued a joint decree (SKB) of three ministers and three institutional leaders on the Prohibition of Activities to Use Symbols and Attributes and the Termination of FPI Activities.
The letter was signed by Interior Minister Tito Karnavian, Menkum HAM Yasonna Laoly, Menkominfo Johnny G Plate, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, National Police Chief Idham Azis and BNPT Boy Chief Rafli Amar.
