jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD spoke about the conflict between PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) VIII and Pondok Pesantren Alam Agrokultural Markaz Syariah DPP Indonesian Defenders Front (FPI) in Megamendung, Bogor Regency.

According to Mahfud, PTPN VIII has not left the ground in the building where Markaz Syariah was founded for 30 years. This is because the government has only granted commercial use rights to PTPN VIII as of 2008.

“Right, he’s not 30 years old yet. That means PTPN hasn’t dealt with him for 30 years because the HGU was only obtained in 2008,” Mahfud was quoted as saying on the YouTube channel of the KAHMI Official Board of Experts Monday (12/28).

On the other hand, Mahfud realized that FPI, together with Habib Rizieq Shihab, as administrators of the Islamic boarding school Markaz Syariah, had a different version of the land of HGU for PTPN VIII.

Habib Rizieq bought land from farmers starting in 2013.

This is because local farmers claim to have a certificate of the land after working for more than 30 years.

“In 2013, when the land was bought by Habib Rizieq, the farmers have not worked it for 20 years, counting from when it was handed over by the state. The management by the state of what is called PTPN VIII and so on, but let’s solve this carefully, “he said. .

However, Mahfud understands that the HGU land for PTPN VIII has now established a pesantren.
