The government reported the addition of new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday (12/28/2020). There were 5,854 additional cases, bringing the total number of confirmed patients to 719,219 since the Corona virus broke out in Indonesia.

DKI Jakarta became the province with the highest number of cases with 1,678 cases, followed by Central Java with 977 cases and East Java with 784 new cases as of December 28.

The details of the development of the Corona virus on Monday (12/28/2020), are as follows:

  • Positive cases increased from 5,854 to 719,219
  • Recovered patients increased from 6,302 to 589,978
  • Patients died increased from 215 to 21,452

Today as many as 34,796 specimens were recorded across Indonesia, while the number of suspects was 69,156.
