Manchester United presented an unusual formation when they visited Leicester City. Paul Scholes said he didn’t want to see one more thing.
At King Power Stadium, Saturday (12/26/2020) WIB early morning, MU drew 2-2 with Leicester. The Red Devils took the lead through Marcus Rashford, leveled by Harvey Barnes before the break.
MU stood out again in the second part through Bruno Fernandes. However, that lead waned after Jamie Vardy’s shot was deflected by Axel Tuanzebe.
MU manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer installed Victor Lindelof as right-back for the match. Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s injury is the cause.
Scholes considered that this was not going well. I wanted a better option to cover Wan-Bissaka.
“I think Lindelof is on the right back, I don’t think we’ll see him again. I hope I won’t see him again. There must be better options than that,” Scholes said. BT sport.
“I thought Tuanzebe was amazing when he came off the bench, because Barnes was really threatening.”
“United, really, I think they were better when they made the changes. I think they left the best players on the bench.”
With this tie, MU is now in fourth place in the Premier League standings with 27 points, a result of 14 plays. MU has never collapsed in seven road trips, with a record of six wins and one draw.
