Trump furious US embassy shaken

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The president of the United States (USA) Donald Trump is in an attack against Iran. He gave a warning to the Shiite country.

He held Iran responsible for the fatal attack on the US embassy in Iraq last week. Three rockets struck the US Embassy in Baghdad on Sunday (12/20/2020).

“Our embassy in Baghdad was hit by several rockets on Sunday … Guess where it came from: IRAN,” @realDonaldTrump said on his personal Twitter, quoted on Friday (12/25/2020).

He said that although there were no casualties, he heard that there is a possibility of additional attacks against US citizens in Iran. That is why Ayatollah Khamanei warned the state.

“If an American is killed, I will hold Iran responsible. Think again,” he said again.

This statement angered Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javid Zarif. He said Trump was doing a diversion problem because he couldn’t face a ‘disaster’ in his own country.

“Trump used a worthless photo to accuse Iran of carelessness,” Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif was quoted as saying by AFP on Friday (12/25/2020).

“Trump will take full responsibility for every step of the way when he leaves (the White House).”

In fact, tensions between the United States and Iran have been mounting, within a year of the assassination of Qasem Soleimani. He is Iran’s top general who was killed in a drone strike in Baghdad carried out by the United States in early 2020.

But long before that, the United States and Iran were tense after Trump pulled out of the Barrck Obama nuclear deal in 2018. Due to Trump’s move, Iran was financially sanctioned and suffered a recession.

The heat between the United States and Iran was said to be a hot spot for the possibility of a Third World War.
