jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya’s head of public relations, police commissioner Yusri Yunus, spoke about the secret letter of telegrams (STR) from the head of the national police, General Idham Azis, about the dissolution of several community organizations (Ormas ), including the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).

Kombes Yusri confirmed that the STR in circulation of the Chief of the National Police, General Idham Azis, was neither true nor a hoax.

“Deception,” Kombes Yusri Yunus said when confirmed, on Friday (12/25).

As is known, the secret telegram in circulation is dated December 23, 2020, relating to the dissolution of various mass organizations.

In STR / 965 / XI / IPP.3.1.6 / 2020, it is stated that President Joko Widodo has signed a Government Regulation in lieu of the law (Perppu) regarding the dissolution of Ormas.

Letter number STR signed by the Deputy Chief of Defense and Security, Inspector General Suntana, explained that Perppu was the basis for dissolving the mass organizations considered incompatible with Pancasila and the Constitution of 1945 and other applicable regulations.

There are six religious organizations included in the STR, namely Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), National Anti-Shia Alliance (Annas), Jamaah Ansarut Tauhit (JAT).

Then there is the Indonesian Mujahidin Council (MMI), the Islamic Community Forum (FUI) and the FPI, which are said to be not legally authorized to conduct organizational activities.(mcr3 / jpnn)
