Komnas HAM team checks FPI members in secret locations

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The National Human Rights Commission examined several witnesses to investigate the case of the shooting of 6 members of the Islamic Defenders Front on Thursday, December 24, 2020. There were two elements of witnesses who were being questioned, namely members of the police and members of the FPI.

The Komnas HAM investigation team questioned police officers from Polda Metro Jaya for 5 hours starting at 11:30 AM WIB. The investigation was followed by Komnas HAM President Ahmad Taufan Damanik, Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam, and other investigation teams.

“This examination is to clarify the chronological flow, test suitability and incompatibility, and deepen some of the information that has been obtained,” Ahmad Taufan Damanik said in a written statement, Thursday, December 24, 2020.

In addition to the police, Komnas HAM also questioned witnesses from members of the FPI. Komnas HAM kept the location of the exam a secret. “In some place.”

various other supporting documents in different locations in the 2 locations. Data and information were collected in the context of the investigation of the shooting against members of the FPI in the rest area of ​​KM 50.
