SURABAYA, KOMPAS.TV – The Densus 88 police headquarters arrested a man suspected of being a terrorist in Mojokerto Regency, East Java, on Wednesday (12/23/2020) yesterday.

The man in question is a hajj and umrah travel agent.

The head of public relations for the East Java regional police, Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, confirmed the arrest.

“That’s right, it was handled by the National Police Headquarters,” he said briefly via email, quoted from Kompas.com, Thursday (12/24/2020).

Information received from the police indicated that the arrest was made at the residence of a man named Hanif Ali Bahost aka Abu Dayyan Bin Ali Muhammad in Pungging Village, Pungging District, Mojokerto Regency, at around 2:00 pm WIB.

The arrest of the suspected terrorist was led by AKBP Faisal Syahroni as Chief of Intelligence at Densus 88 Police Headquarters.
