Andi added that Bareskrim caught Habib Rizieq with Article 14 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) of Law Number 4 of 1984 on Outbreaks of Infectious Diseases in conjunction with Article 93 of Law Number 6 of 2018 on Sanitary Quarantine and Article 216 of the Penal Code on negligence. prohibition of the state apparatus.
Andi explained that so far only Habib Rizieq was the suspect in the case. This is because the preacher from Petamburan, in central Jakarta, is the organizer and also the person in charge of the event in Megamendung.
The former director of the General Criminal Investigation of the North Sumatra Regional Police emphasized that there was no committee for the Habib Rizieq event in the Puncak area.
“There is no committee, there is no committee for the Megamendung (event),” he said.
Initially, the Megamendung case was handled by the West Java Regional Police. However, Bareskrim now takes over the shirt and elevates it to the investigation stage.
