Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – Several mining issuers are being chased by foreign investors amid the weakening of the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) in trading today, Wednesday (12/23/2020).
The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed its pace at the level of 6,008.70 after having corrected 0.24 percent compared to yesterday’s close. The index even broke down again, touching the 5853.26 level in early trading.
Of all the stocks traded, only 190 stocks turned green, while 305 turned red and another 128 turned yellow or did not move from their position at yesterday’s close.
By sector, it was observed that several industrial sectors experienced the deepest correction, namely 1.34 percent. It was followed by the mining sector and the consumer sector, which fell 0.75 percent and 0.61 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, at the end of the day today, total transactions were recorded at 17.81 trillion rupees with net foreign sales of 381.81 billion rupees across the market. Market capitalization reached IDR 7030.32 trillion.
The shares of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) occupy the first position of the target shares of foreign investors with net purchase volume or Net purchase up to 28.35 million shares.
Meanwhile, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk. (FREN) is also on the list of shares most sought after by foreigners with a net purchase volume of 18.33 million.
Following behind him, PT Waskita Concrete Precast Tbk (WSBP) shares registered Net purchase 14.82 million shares and PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk (ASRI) registered a net purchase of 11.72 million shares.
