Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Deputy Secretary General of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Aziz Yanuar stating that his party was not disappointed after Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga One, a vice presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential elections, joined Indonesia’s Maju cabinet led by Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin.

“There is not [kekecewaan], because we never expect creatures, so no one is disappointed, “said Aziz, citing various verses from the Qur’an, for CNNIndonesia.com, Tuesday (12/22).

Aziz said his party never intended to return his worldly support. So, Aziz emphasized that there was no word of disappointment in this matter.

“Then there is no dictionary disappointed. Disappointed is just the global orientation,” he argued.

Before Sandiaga, Prabowo joined Jokowi’s cabinet after losing the 2019 presidential election. He was appointed defense minister and Gerindra joined the ruling coalition.

Now Sandiaga Uno follows in Prabowo’s footsteps. He was appointed by Jokowi as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy replacing Whisnutama in the Advanced Cabinet of Indonesia.

The FPI itself is one of the organizations that supported the Prabowo-Sandiaga couple in the 2019 presidential elections. The FPI is a group that has an important role in mobilizing the masses for Prabowo-Sandi supporters.

In fact, FPI together with PA 212 and GNPF Ulama held a great meeting on December 2, 2018 inviting Prabowo. They then organized an Ijtimak Ulama which, as a result, voiced support for Prabowo-Sandi in the 2019 presidential elections.
