However, this does not mean that private vehicle users can walk freely. This is because private vehicle users still have to adhere to 3M’s health protocol and are required to perform tests as well. In addition, the Ministry of Transport and regional offices will carry out a random check or rapid random antigen test for private drivers on the roads.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Transport, Adita Irawati, explained that the published SE refers to the Working Group of the SE Covid-19. “The goal is to prevent and break the chain of spread of Covid-19, which has the potential to increase due to people’s travel during the Christmas and New Year holidays,” he said in an official statement on Tuesday (22 / 12).

Travelers using air and rail transport between cities must show a certificate of negative result using the rapid antigen test no later than 3×24 hours before departure as a condition for travel.

For travelers using land transport, both public and private, appealed use rapid antigen test no later than 3 x 24 hours prior to departure as a travel requirement. E-Hac Indonesia filling is mandatory for travelers using all modes of public and private transport except rail modes of transport.

In certain circumstances related to the provisions of the Regional Working Group, you can perform a random test (random test), rapid antigen test or RT-PCR if required.

Adita Irawati said that although there is no mandatory antigen test, for private car drivers such as cars and motorcycles, there will be a random verification sampling conducted by the Ministry of Transport and the regional Working Group. The activities will take place in specific locations.
