JAKARTA, iNews.id – One of the members of the diplomatic staff of the German Embassy (Embassy) was returned to his home country. The staff were sent back to Germany after it was discovered that they visited the headquarters of the DPP’s Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) in Petamburan, Jakarta.

This is known from information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu). This information was received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after meeting with the Head of the German Embassy in Jakarta.

The meeting was continued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to request clarification and broadcast a protest against the activities of the staff of the German Embassy in Jakarta who visited the FPI headquarters in Petamburan a few days ago.

“The German embassy said that diplomatic staff had been asked to return immediately to account for their actions and provide clarifications to the government,” the official statement from the Foreign Ministry quoted on its official website, said Monday (21 / 12/2020).
