Jakarta –
Manchester United just got a great victory and made it into the top three of the Premier League standings. Even so, ‘Ole out’ could still resonate again.
The Red Devils beat Leeds United 6-2 in the Premier League. At Old Trafford on Sunday (12/20/2020), Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes scored two goals. Meanwhile, Victor Lindelof and Daniel James contributed a goal.
With the additional three points, MU now ranks third in the Premier League standings with 26 points. They have only played 13 times.
Raihan MU’s figures are five points behind Liverpool in first place. Marcus Rashford cs can close the gap with Liverpool to two points.
Former MU player Robbie Savage felt that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s situation at Manchester Red would still be difficult if not consistent.
“The problem remains with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: if he loses the next two games, there will be a push from ‘Ole out’ again. This is what I don’t understand,” Savage told the BBC.
“I know they have been eliminated from the Champions League, but they have a great chance to win the Europa League, they have a chance to win the Carabao Cup, they will have a shot at the FA Cup and they are in a good position in the league.”
“What are Manchester United fans thinking about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer right now? It would be strange if they lost the song, there would be pressure from Ole again.”
MU still leaves duties to improve their performance in home games when playing in the Premier League. In the 7 matches that have taken place, MU only won twice, then drew two and fell three times.
