jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya has pocketed the identities of two police officers as they were about to disperse the 1812 protest around the Jakarta DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, on Friday (12/18).
Polda Metro’s Head of Public Relations Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said that investigators are currently continuing to pursue the perpetrators.
“We have obtained the profile, and we will follow it until we find the culprit,” Yusri said when confirmed on Sunday (12/20).
Yusri added that one of the perpetrator’s characteristics was wearing a black cap when he stabbed the police with a sharp samurai weapon.
This is based on the video recordings obtained by the researchers.
“We have found the person, in the photo who is wearing, also with a hat,” Yusri said.
As a result of the attack, the two policemen suffered cuts to their hands and stab wounds in the back.
However, the two policemen have started to recover and are no longer receiving treatment at the hospital.
