jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The State Intelligence Agency (BIN) has accused the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) of spreading hoaxes related to the news about the existence of members of the code-named institute that is being secured.

According to BIN MP VII Wawan Hari Purwanto BIN, FPI’s claims are not true.

“Recently, news circulated that three BIN members were caught by FPI. These are all hoaxes. There were no names of BIN members as reported by FPI. All those mentioned by FPI are clearly not BIN members, also known as members fake BINs, “Wawan said through the service. Message for JPNN.Com, Sunday (12/20).

Wawan also said that BIN did not carry out a Delima-coded spy operation to spy on the FPI. According to him, BIN has no urgency to follow FPI Grand Imam Habib Rizieq Shihab at his Megamendung boarding school or at his family residence in Bogor Regency, West Java.

The former president of the State Intelligence College (STIN) emphasized that BIN could meet Rizieq directly without having to spy on him.

Other than that, Wawan said, the membership cards carried by three people claiming to be BIN members were also fake.

“Not like the original BIN. Many people claim to be BIN members in various regions of Indonesia. Many were also convicted in court,” he continued.

According to Wawan, the BIN members who carried out the operation never carried a member’s identity card. Wawan also emphasized that there were no BIN deputies as alleged by FPI.
