JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – People traveling in the areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) are not required to show a rapid antigen test or PCR test letter as a condition of travel.
This is established in Circular number 3 of the Covid-19 manipulation working group of 2020 Page 3 Point 3 letter e.
At this point, it is also explained that the requirements for rapid antigen testing do not apply to shipping in limited locations between islands or between agglomeration areas.
“Routine trips on the island of Java by sea transport aiming to serve in limited locations between islands or between national ports within an agglomeration area or by land transport, both private and public in an urban agglomeration area (Jabodetabek ), they are not required to show a rapid antigen test result as a condition of travel, “the Circular wrote.

However, the Circular, signed yesterday by the Head of the National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) Doni Monardo on Saturday (12/19/2020), allows the Covid-19 regional Working Group to conduct random tests of travelers.
“In certain circumstances related to the provisions of points d and e, the Regional Covid-19 Management Working Group may perform a random test (random test) of rapid test antigen or RT PCR if necessary,” written in a circular .
Aside from travelers within Jabodetabek, children under the age of 12 are also not required to perform antigen samples or PCR.
This is indicated on page 3, point 3, letter d of the Circular.
“Children under the age of 12 are not required to perform an RT-PCR test or a rapid antigen test as a condition for travel.”

In addition to the two points above, the people who are going to travel must be subject to different classifications of travel areas.
Strict travel conditions apply for those traveling to Bali by air travel.
Each traveler must present a negative PCR test letter. The letter is valid a maximum of seven days before departure.
Meanwhile, for travel from sea and land routes to Bali, travelers must show negative rapid antigen test results.
The letter can be used a maximum of 3×24 hours before departure.
The requirements are lighter for those who want to travel to areas in Java.
Travelers are not required to show the results of PCR tests, but rather rapid antigen tests for all departure routes, including sea, land and air.
Meanwhile, for areas other than Java and Bali, the Covid-19 Working Group provided further relief by allowing the use of rapid antibody tests.
“Apart from the provisions of points b and c on Java and Bali, rapid antibody tests can still be used in accordance with the existing provisions,” the letter wrote.
