There were two policemen who were hit with sharp weapons (sajam) while securing the 1812 demonstration. The head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that the two policemen who were attacked were discharged from the hospital (RS) .
“He’s back, anyway. (The two policemen’s injury) one (beaten person) cut his hand, one in the back, was stabbed,” Yusri said when contacted on Sunday (12/20/2020 ).
However, Yusri did not explain when the two policemen would be leaving the hospital. He only made sure that the two policemen who had been attacked were not in critical condition.
“No … no …, it is not (treated),” he continued.
He also added that the 1812 action coordinator, Rizal Kobar, would be subpoenaed for questioning about the existence of sajam, marijuana-like narcotics and the crowd that ensued. Yusri has not disclosed when Rizal will be questioned.
“Ah, later. We continue to investigate. This just increased the level of investigation, then we will clarify, yes,” he said.
Earlier, two policemen were injured with sharp weapons when they dispersed the 1812 protest around the horse statue, Jakarta, on Friday (12/18). Polda Metro Jaya is now searching for the perpetrator who injured the officer.
“We are still chasing the perpetrator, we are still chasing,” Yusri Yunus said when contacted on Saturday (12/18).
Yusri said he is still compiling a series of tests. Several photos of the perpetrators at the scene, Yusri said, were already in the hands of the police.
