Liverpool –
Arsenal have not won in seven consecutive Premier League games. The London Cannon seemed to have forgotten how to choose the three points.
Competing at Goodison Park on Sunday (12/20/2020) WIB early morning, Arsenal were unable to take points away from Everton. The London cannon in this match fell 1-2.
Everton took the lead with an own goal from Rob Holding. Nicolas Pepe brought Arsenal to a 1-1 balance before finally losing 1-2 on Yerry Mina’s goal.
Out of the last seven Premier League games this season, Arsenal have only won two points, namely from Leeds United and Southampton. The other five games ended in losses to Everton, Burnley, Tottenham Hotspur, Wolves and Aston Villa.
Arsenal are still stuck in 15th place with 14 points. The Gunners are just four points from the relegation zone.
“We created enough chances at least not to lose. There was a shot that hit the crossbar. We were unlucky,” Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta told Sky Sports after the game against Everton.
“We lost to Burnley without a shot on goal and now we lost by several chances,” he continued.
“It’s very difficult when you play with a team that defends low and wins time. We made it difficult for us to concede the first goal,” insisted Arteta.
Arsenal may not win again the following week. This is because Chelsea is ready to come to the Emirates Stadium for a boxing match.
