The DKI Jakarta Provincial Transport Agency (Dishub) issued regulations on travel by public transport. From December 18 to January 8, 2020, public transport passengers entering and leaving Jakarta are required to present the results of the rapid antigen test.
The rapid test obligation is a national policy to welcome the 2021 Christmas and New Year periods. DKI Jakarta (Kadishub) Transport Agency Director Syafrin Liputo said that this obligation applies to passengers air, sea and bus.
However, DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria said private cars will also undergo a rapid antigen test. It’s just that private cars are randomly implemented and are still being discussed in the Indonesian Ministry of Transport.

Rapid antigen test fee
Through Circular Number HK.02.02 / 1/4611/2020, the government regulates the cost of rapid antigen testing. The highest retail price (HET) is set at 250 lakhs in Java and 275 lakhs outside of Java.
The circular is addressed to the Head of the Provincial Health Service, Regency / City, the main director and director of the hospital, the President of the Indonesian Hospital Association, the President of the Indonesian Clinical Association, the President of the Association of Clinics and Indonesian Primary Care Facilities, to the President of the All Health Services Association. Indonesia, President of the Indonesian Association of Clinical Laboratories and other relevant stakeholders.
“First of all, the highest fee limit for rapid tests for hyssop antigens is Rs 250,000 for the island of Java, and Rs 275,000 outside of Java,” said the Secretary of the Directorate-General for Health Services, Dr. Azhar Jaya at a virtual press conference, quoted by detikFinance.
The government will impose penalties on service providers if they charge a fee for a rapid antigen test above the highest stipulated retail price.
“Of course the sanctions are measurable, from the term of notification, then the summons, to the additional steps related to licensing,” said the Secretary of the General Directorate of Health Services, Dr. Azhar Jaya.
