jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Bareskrim Polri continues to investigate the case of the attack by six members of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) laskar against members of the Polda Metro Jaya. The case that resulted in the death of six FPI soldiers has yet to be identified as a suspect.

Dirtipidum Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Andi Rian, said that the six FPI paramilitary soldiers were still reported as reported by the police, who reported attacks.

“Not yet, not yet reported, not yet a suspect,” Andi Rian said when confirmed by reporters on Friday (12/18).

The one-star general continued, investigators in the investigation have yet to determine who was involved in the attack and their roles. “Investigators must first confirm all parties involved,” Andi Rian added.

The former Director of General Criminal Investigation of the North Sumatra Regional Police explained that although all six members of the FPI laskar had died, it was not impossible to determine a suspect.

“What is clear is that the case is still under investigation and investigators have not carried out the title of a suspect because the witnesses are still in development,” Andi Rian said.

Meanwhile, Andi Rian said that investigators today are still examining additional witnesses for bright spots in the case. “Today there are dozens of new crime scene witness examinations (TKP), additional examinations by experts, including criminal experts, and additional ballistics experts,” concluded the general, who graduated from the 1991 Police Academy.
