While in Lampung, Upik Lawanga made money selling ducks

The National Police said the suspected bomb-mounting expert Taufik Bulaga alias Upik Lawanga often moved from place to place until he was finally found in Lampung. During his life in Lampung, Upik made money selling ducks.

“For Upik Lawanga, he also moved in hiding, but yesterday he was in Lampung, he was selling ducks,” National Police Chief of Public Relations Inspector General Argo Yuwono said on Friday during a press conference at the headquarters of the policeman, Jalan Trunojoyo, in South Jakarta. While in Lampung, Upik raised money by selling ducks. The money Upik collected, Argo said, bought him a house.

“He worked as a duck seller and was finally able to raise money and then buy him a house,” he said.

Previously, 23 suspected terrorists who were arrested by the Anti-Terrorism Police team of Special Task Force 88 in Lampung arrived at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang. Upon arrival at Soekarno-Hatta airport, the suspected terrorists were taken to the headquarters of the National Police under the close surveillance of the Densus 88 anti-terrorist team.

Two of the 23 suspected terrorists were fugitives from the National Police, namely Zulkarnaen and Upik Lawanga. They arrived at Soekarno-Hatta airport using a Batik Air plane on Wednesday (12/16/2020) at 12:53 WIB.
