JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The field coordinator (Korlap) of the 1812 action, Rijal Kobar, spoke about several unscrupulous protesters who carried sharp weapons (sajam) and had been captured by the police.
Rijal said he was not from the National Anti-Communist Alliance (ANAK) NKRI.
“If someone is caught wearing sajam, I think it is not from us,” Rijal said in Tanah Abang, on Friday (12/18/2020).
Rijal said he did not urge protesters to bring sajam.

“I do not allow participants in the action like that. Nor have I received any information,” he said.
Previously reported by Kompas.com, the North Jakarta Metropolitan Police conducted a lockdown operation at Jalan Yos Sudarso, Gading Head, North Jakarta, on Friday, in anticipation of the 1812 action at the State Palace, downtown from Jakarta.
North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Sudjarwoko said that of the four people who were arrested, two of them, MZ and MF, were caught carrying sharp weapons.
“We carried out isolation against the masses that were going to the Palace, until this afternoon four people were arrested, two of whom were carrying sharp weapons,” Sudjarwoko said.
“One is badik, the other is a bamboo with a sharp point, it can be categorized as a sharp weapon,” he continued.
