JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Police officers repulsed a mass of Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) sympathizers who were about to carry out the 1812 action from Jalan Kebon Sirih to Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Police are on duty at the Kebon Sirih intersection near the Millenium Hotel in Jakarta.
The crowd was seen retreating towards the Tanah Abang market.
Some of the FPI sympathizers were still seen around the Kebon Sirih intersection.

Previously, the mass of FPI sympathizers began to march towards the State Palace on Friday afternoon.

The action of 1812 was carried out demanding the disclosure of the case of shooting of six special laskar of the FPI by the police.

Slamet said the rally was held to demand justice and reveal behind the shooters of the six FPI soldiers.
