Polda Metro Jaya confirmed that they would not issue a permit for Action 1812 demanding the release of Habib Rizieq Shihab in front of the State Palace in central Jakarta tomorrow. So what does PA 212 say?

212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA 212) president Slamet Maarif said his party had sent a letter notifying police of the activity. In fact, he questioned the demonstration that required permission from the police.

“Ask the police since when did the demonstration use a permit? Not enough notice based on the law?” Slamet said when contacted by reporters on Thursday (12/17/2020).

According to Slamet, it is enough for him to send a notification letter about the action schedule to the police. Slamet admitted that the notification letter was delivered a few days ago.

“Our obligation to notify (the activity plan) has been fulfilled. Evidence that we comply with the law based on the law, ”he said.

The same was relayed by Deputy Secretary General PA 212 Novel Bamukmin. According to him, the Anak NKRI as organizing committee for this activity had sent a notification letter to Polda Metro Jaya.

According to him, armed with the notification letter, his party could still carry out the action of 1812 tomorrow in front of the State Palace.
