JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV– After the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) summoned the Chief Inspector General of Metro Police Jaya Fadil Imran and the Director of PT Jasa Marga, Subakti Syukur, on Monday (12/14/2020), Komnas HAM claimed to have found important information that would be followed up.

According to Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam, the two invited parties were willing to work together to clarify this case. “We checked the Regional Police Chief for an hour. After that, with his team, it took us up to four hours,” Anam said in an interview. Compass TV, Tuesday (12/15/2020).

During a four-hour examination with a team from Polda Metro Jaya, Anam admitted that there were several findings that were the same but some were different. The point of difference is due to two things, namely the perception of witnesses and evidence and different points of view.

Meanwhile, when calling Jasa Marga, Komnas HAM also claimed to have received important information about the CCTV cameras at the site. One of them is the distance between CCTV and the scene at KM 50, which is up to 100 meters. “We use CCTV logic plus Jasa Marga’s statement,” he explained.

Anam admitted that she had visited the site and observed it from morning to night. These observations were later compared with CCTV cameras from Jasa Marga. “We will request CCTV from zero point to points that we cannot transmit,” Anam said. According to Anam, these specific location points are quite crucial because they are so much needed. However, at this time it cannot be published so as not to interfere with the investigation.
